 Gracie's
Story

IMG_5266.jpg

“At just under 5 years old Gracie’s life took a tremendous and unexpected turn. Involuntary movement began in her left arm, Leg, and face without warning or cause. After several years, and over 40 hospitals, she remains undiagnosed and left with dystonic limbs that she battles daily.
Despite the situation, we are constantly amazed that, she remains a Positive and Vibrant young lady. She is very kind and worries about all people. She texts, loves the movies, and most of all enjoys interacting with people. Sadly, people are sometimes wary of her until they sit with her, and once they do, they are friends for life.
Gracie communicates and understands, although at times her speech is garbled. To combat this, she learned to use sign language to fill in the blanks. She has little use of her left arm but can-do amazing things with her right, although she is wheelchair bound this does not stop her from working during the week and creating things that she believes makes the world a better place.
This is where “Gracielets” was born. She has always had a love of crafting and Gracie enjoys making bracelets with the one arm she has use of and gets a great deal of satisfaction doing it.
A few years ago, Gracie asked me to make a website so she could sell her “Gracielets”. She had one goal in mind; “Make people happy”. She believes that though terrible things happened to her, making people happy and supporting them is important. She asked I create this site for her. Genuine “Gracielets” are made with one hand, she works hard at making them unique and colorful to match how you feel every day. “If you’re having a bad day, take at look at your “Gracielet” and it will turn your day around because it’s made with Love”.
Please take a look and if something appeals to you, please purchase it.

A portion of all the proceeds is donated to Charity but mostly we buy her more material so she can make more. Our plan is to find other people like her to work alongside her and create this one-of-a-kind phenomenon!

The “Gracielet”!
-Thanks in advance for all your love and support. The “Gracielets” team (Mom, Dad, and her brother).
